LOS ANGELES Children's Health Project
The Los Angeles Children’s Health Project (LACHP), also known as Cedars-Sinai COACH (Community Outreach Assistance for Children’s Health), provides medically underserved children with transitional medical care and social support services.
At the same time, it connects patients and their families to integrated quality healthcare and to other community resources. The program’s mobile medical unit is dedicated to meeting the immediate medical, behavioral, and community health needs of the underserved pediatric patient population in South Los Angeles.
LACHP also serves patients at schools, places of worship, public housing developments, WIC (women, infants and children) centers, Head Start centers, and at other community agencies.
